Settling In

This is the neighborhood I am staying in. It is a
pretty quiet residential area. I am in one of the most densly populated areas of Tokyo - it may look crazy and busy but it's just a function of all the lights. There are a lot of small shops and restaurants and this is looking at the tunnel that runs under the train station.
My school mates will be jealous. I am on the seventh floor with a desk in the corner that faces a wall of windows on both sides of me. I have a wonderful view of the campus and the city from up here. Do you guys even remember sunlight??
Ok back to work!

We are enjoying your daily postings. We read them before bedtime. What are your work hours? How are the food prices? Do you have far to go to the university? Do you walk? Hugs! Mom & Dad

Glad to see you made it and are settling in. We've been out of touch this last week, and are just catching up. (We were up in DC with the kids) (I assume the trains in Japan are a bit more on time than Amtrak. More to this story later.)

Sunlight, what is that? Really, I'm getting more sun than I need working for SME. I have the hottest farmer's tan you've ever seen. I enjoy reading you're posts, and I'm glad you're having a good time! I know you'll soak everything you learn right up cause you're a sponge :-P Have fun!
