Ian Forrest Stek was born 10-20-06 at 12:29 am at the University of Michigan Birth Center. Ian, Mom and Dad are all healthy and very happy but exhausted. He weighed in at 7lbs 14.5ozs and is 20in long. More later.

Isn't he awesome! And so tiny! He is the best thing that has ever happened to us! We are both very excited. The delivery was a true testament to Elizabeth's awe inspiring will and perseverance, it was a tough run. Love Ya E!
I have been checking in on you daily and I just wanted to tell the two of you how happy I am for you! It was a long haul, all the way around, but I'm sure you will attest that he was ABSOLUTELY worth it! Ian is SO PERFECT!!! Congratulations! :)

I'd say to try to get as much sleep as you can (especially Mom: wow, what a labor) but I know that probably isn't going to happen. :)
