This is me and the Peanut hanging at Ueno Park. It's amazing that you can be right in the middle of the city and there'll be this amazing old shrine. This was in a huge park that houses the Tokyo Zoo and many museums as well as a bunch of cool shrines. This is just the walkway to the shrine and the gate in the wall. Crazy. We couldn't take pictures inside but I was awed. I believe it was 600 years old. Later we went on a paddle boat ride on the pond inside this swan boat. That was a bunch of laughs. A good day over all. Rather low key and restful. Tomorrow we go to Kamakura, home of the great Buddha and a gazillion other old temples so you'll see gobs of these photos when I get back. The hydrangea's are in bloom all over the city and they apparently have a hydrangea garden in Kamakura that is something to see. More later. Good Morning and Good Night.
